Basik-Series Electrostatic Transducers |
Basik is a contact microphone designed for use with all stringed instruments. Simple to use, Basik attaches to the instrument’s top with the supplied inert putty. Basik is available in three versions, each with the same transducer.
Basik Set – includes the Basik electrostatic transducer, cable, putty, and a 1.5 volt power supply.
Basik Pro – includes the Basik electrostatic transducer, cable, putty and a 48-volt phantom power adapter designed for use with mixers and amplifiers that supply 48-volts of phantom power.
Basik Reso – designed in partnership with noted resophonic guitar builder Tim Scheerhorn, the Basik Reso is designed to mount internally behind the bridge of spider cone resonator guitars. Basik Reso includes the Basik electrostatic transducer, STAT-Preamp (with 9-volt battery and volume control) and ¼” endjack for permanent installation in your instrument.
Basik is also compatible with, and may be powered by, the Schertler PRE-AII preamp and UNICO and David amplifiers.
