DUAL-SOURCE |
The Dual System is the latest Schertler innovation for acoustic guitar amplification. The Dual combines the two main Schertler technologies, the electrostatic under-saddle transducer (BLUESTiCK) with the electrodynamic contact transducer (DYN-Series).
The combination of BLUESTiCK and DYN enables the player to create a wide variety of tones. Either pickup may be selected alone, or a blend of the two may be created. The flexibility of the Dual System is complemented by its simplicity; a double rotary controller is mounted inside the sound hole. The black control adjusts the overall system volume level, while the white control adjusts the blend between the BLUESTiCK and DYN transducers.
Installation for the BLUESTiCK is exactly the same as for standard BLUESTiCK models. The internally mounted DYN (called C-DYN) is mounted to the bridge plate with double-sided tape.
The DUAL requires no visual modification of your instrument – no more unsightly control panels, volume knobs, and so on.
